MatBurnout invites qualified professionals and researchers to add expert context to selected resources. Contributions are reviewed before anything is published.
Why MatBurnout invites expert input
MatBurnout is an independent burnout education resource built on lived experience and careful sourcing. It is not a medical service and does not present itself as one. Where a topic benefits from professional context — occupational health, psychology, workplace research — we would rather quote a qualified expert than approximate one.
Who we are looking for
- Psychologists and psychiatrists
- Physicians with relevant occupational-health experience
- Occupational-health and workplace-health professionals
- Organisational psychologists
- Researchers and academics studying work, stress, or recovery
- Other appropriately qualified professionals
Ways to contribute
- Expert quote — a short attributed comment on a specific topic
- Short written perspective — a few paragraphs of professional context
- Article review — feedback on an existing MatBurnout resource
- Research contribution — pointing us to or summarising relevant evidence
- Interview — a written or recorded conversation
- Survey or research collaboration — input on MatBurnout's anonymous workplace research
How attribution works
Accepted contributions are attributed by name, verified professional title, and organisation where appropriate, with a link to a professional profile if you provide one. Credentials may be verified before attribution. Contributors retain attribution for accepted quotes and contributions.
Editorial independence
Submission does not guarantee publication, and contributing does not make you an employee, adviser, or representative of MatBurnout. MatBurnout may edit contributions for clarity and does not publish promotional material. Medical or clinical claims require appropriate supporting evidence. There is no payment for contributions and no backlink offered or required in exchange for participation.
Conflicts of interest and corrections
Please disclose any conflicts of interest — commercial, employment, or research funding — relevant to the topic you contribute on. If something we publish with your name on it needs correcting, email mat@matburnout.com and we will review and correct it per our editorial policy.
